A sign worth painting by hand

A ceramics studio with a shop attached, and a logo somebody had bought from a template site in 2016.

Identity

Kilnhouse fires everything on site, so we took the color off the inside of the kiln at temperature and matched it. That makes the orange a fact about the making rather than a preference, which is the argument that let it survive three rounds of a nervous founder. The arch mark is drawn to be painted by hand at any size, because their signwriter is a friend and they were never going to buy vinyl. Everything else is stamps, tissue and a stoneware stamp cut from the same drawing.
